“We are especially worried about Central and South America, where many countries have witnessed a growing epidemic,” he said.
The head of WHO added that the number of cases of coronavirus in the Eastern Mediterranean, Southeast Asia and Africa is also increasing.
It is noted that over the past five days, the organization received information about more than 100 thousand new cases of infection in the world.
